Umm, "Taxi!" Yup, this is a legitimate water taxi which would take us across Echo Lakes to the trailhead. This was a nice break after hiking 15.3 miles already this day. It cost us about $7 for a 2.5 mile ride and it was worth it! There are many houses which line Echo Lake and they are only accessible by water. I'd love to stay in one of them!
